These general purpose, multi-beam couplings will readily accommodate any combination of axial motion and angular & parallel misalignment but should be used with caution if low bearing loads are desirable.
The single beam coupling is more flexible than the multi-beam but less torsional rigid. Applications include: Stepper drives, encoders, general purpose light duty power transmission applications.
Elastic FLENDER couplings are mateable and easy to assemble. The elastomer element compensates for shaft misalignment and absorbs impacts from the motor or work machines.
TORSIONALLY RIGID COUPLINGS
Our compact steel couplings provide highly precise transmission of high torques especially under harsh operating conditions and at extreme temperatures.
Smooth start, overload protection, torsional vibration damping – FLUDEX fluid couplings enable torque-limited start-up and have very low slippage at nominal loads.
CHPT Multi Beam couplings are zero backlash single-piece couplings and are available in single stage (3-beam) or two stage (6-beam). Multi beam couplings also have material options available for moisture and corrosion resistance. CHPT Single Beam couplings provide zero backlash and are single-piece couplings that are more flexible than Multi-Beam but less torsionally rigid. CHPT couplings unique plastic coupling design provides an excellent combination of radial flexibility with torsional stiffness.
